Feelings

I have dedicated one of my poems to so many people with beautiful eyes including my mother and one of my nephews. I extend this rare honour to my Delivery manager. I am also including this song along side my poem.

FEELINGS
Author: Copyright 1996 Carol D. Meeks

I didn't know
I could love anyone as much as I love you
For the sound of your voice, makes all my dreams come true.
You walk into a room,
and I know you have arrived;
my heart skips a beat when you walk up to my side.
I hope this kind of magic stays forever between us two,
and the whole wide world will
know that God sent me you.

Feelings

Like soft music on tired ears,
Like a kind mother ending child's fears.
On the wide sea two little ships,
Like wedding kiss on the bride's lips.
On the scorched Earth, crystal rain,
Like liquor intoxication on a creative brain.
Joys and fun in a long vacation,
Like warm compliments on a special occasion.
Like passionate panting of an eager heart,
Like the first experience of giving birth.
Watching the world from a great height,
Like a blind man getting back his sight.
On the lap of our sweetheart peacefully dying,
Like first love causing sweet sighing.
Finding beauty and virtue together,
Like getting wet in a rainy weather.
Zooming above a shooting star,
Like a letter from a friend far far.
With soft music, cheek to cheek dance,
Like the freshness of youth and smell of romance
Just gazing in your eyes and falling in a trance,
I feel all- all at once.
